General Terms & Conditions (AGB)
These Terms govern all services provided by ExpatBusiness.
1. Service Provider
These General Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all services provided by:

(hereinafter referred to as “ExpatBusiness”, “we”, “our”, or “us”)
and the Customer (hereinafter referred to as the “Customer”).
2. Scope of Services
ExpatBusiness provides business setup guidance, administrative support, coordination services, and consulting assistance for individuals and businesses wishing to establish or operate a business in Germany.
Services may include:
- Sole proprietorship (Einzelunternehmen) setup support
- Freelancer registration support
- UG and GmbH formation coordination
- Business registration guidance
- Tax registration support
- VAT ID application guidance
- EORI registration support
- Business bank account setup coordination
- Insurance consultation coordination
- Tax advisor referral and coordination
- Translation service coordination
- Notary appointment coordination
- General business administrative support and consulting
The exact scope depends on the purchased package.
3. Nature of Services
ExpatBusiness provides guidance, coordination, and administrative support services only.
ExpatBusiness does not provide legal, tax, financial, accounting, investment, or immigration advice unless explicitly delivered by duly licensed professionals.
All final decisions remain with relevant authorities and third-party institutions.
4. Third-Party Services
Certain services require cooperation with third parties, including:
- Tax advisors
- Notaries
- Banks
- Insurance providers
- Translators
- Government authorities
- Other service providers
The Customer authorizes ExpatBusiness to share necessary data solely for service execution.
ExpatBusiness is not responsible for delays, rejections, decisions, pricing, or outcomes of third parties.
5. Customer Responsibilities
The Customer agrees to:
- Provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date information
- Submit required documents on time
- Respond promptly to communication
- Attend scheduled consultations
The Customer is solely responsible for the accuracy of submitted information.
6. Fees and Payment
- All fees are payable in advance unless otherwise agreed
- Prices are listed on the website or individually agreed
- Government, notary, bank, tax advisor, translation, insurance, and other third-party costs are not included unless stated
- Services may be paused until full payment is received
7. Right of Withdrawal (Consumers)
Consumers within the meaning of § 13 BGB have a statutory right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen (14) days without giving any reason.
To exercise the right of withdrawal, the Customer must notify:

by means of a clear statement (e.g. email or written notice) expressing the decision to withdraw.
The withdrawal period expires fourteen (14) days after conclusion of the contract.
8. Immediate Commencement of Services and Cancellation Policy
The Customer may expressly request that ExpatBusiness begins service delivery before the expiry of the statutory withdrawal period.
By requesting immediate commencement, the Customer acknowledges and agrees that:
- ExpatBusiness may immediately begin onboarding, consultations, document review, application preparation, coordination, and administrative work
- Once any consultation, onboarding session, document review, or substantive work begins, the service is deemed commenced
- Prior to commencement of the first consultation or any substantive work, the Customer may cancel and request a refund
- Any third-party costs already incurred will be deducted from the refund
- After commencement, the Customer is required to pay for services already performed
- If the service is fully completed, the statutory withdrawal right expires
No refund is provided for services already rendered, consultations completed, or work already performed.
9. No Right of Withdrawal for Business Customers
The statutory right of withdrawal applies only to consumers.
Customers acting in a commercial, freelance, self-employed, or business capacity within the meaning of § 14 BGB are not entitled to any statutory withdrawal or cancellation rights unless explicitly agreed otherwise in writing.
10. No Guarantee of Approval or Success
ExpatBusiness does not guarantee:
- Business registration approval
- Tax registration approval
- VAT ID issuance
- EORI issuance
- Bank account approval
- Insurance acceptance
- Any authority or third-party decision
All decisions remain solely with the respective institutions.
11. Online Consultations and No-Show Policy
Consultations may be conducted via Zoom, Google Meet, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp, telephone, or other agreed platforms.
- Appointments may be rescheduled with at least 24 hours’ notice
- Missed appointments without notice are considered delivered services
- Late arrival beyond 15 minutes may be treated as a no-show
- Repeated no-shows may result in suspension of services without refund
- ExpatBusiness may reschedule due to emergencies or technical issues
12. Communication Policy
Communication may take place via:
- Phone
- Video conferencing tools
Response times are not guaranteed but will occur within reasonable business hours.
Support is limited to the purchased package scope.
13. Limitation of Liability
ExpatBusiness is liable only for damages caused by intent or gross negligence, as permitted by law.
ExpatBusiness is not liable for:
- Indirect or consequential damages
- Loss of profits
- Third-party delays or decisions
- Authority rejections
- Customer errors or omissions
14. Affiliate Partnerships and Referral Compensation
ExpatBusiness may recommend third-party services including:
- Banks
- Insurance providers
- Accounting software
- Tax advisors
- Business service providers
ExpatBusiness may receive affiliate commissions or referral fees.
This does not increase costs for the Customer.
The Customer is free to choose any provider.
ExpatBusiness assumes no responsibility or liability for third-party services, decisions, pricing, or outcomes.
15. Data Protection and Governing Law
Personal data is processed in accordance with GDPR and the Privacy Policy on the website.
German law applies exclusively.
If any provision is invalid, the remaining provisions remain unaffected.
